About me
I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and in some ways I still consider it my home. I have moved across the country twice - to Austin, to complete my doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of Texas, and to Salt Lake City, where I have lived since 2018. Prior to opening a private practice, I worked for the local Veterans Affairs hospital, and I previously worked in community clinics and mental health centers across central Texas.
After spending many years of young adulthood unsure of my career path, I feel so privileged to work as a psychologist. My job consistently shows me the human capacity for beauty, humor, and resilience in life’s most challenging moments. In today’s world, that feels like an invaluable gift.
When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy taking walks, browsing the shelves of the wonderful Salt Lake library systems, and watching improv comedy or the latest Survivor episode.
